The video for The Starlit Sea is currently in rotation on various Italian Web stations and the national music channel Dee Jay TV. The Starlit Sea is also video of the day at Beat Bop A Lula. The magazines KD Cobain and Lost Highways gave Offshore excellent reviews. Obviously they are in Italian so I had to run them through a web translator to get it to make sense. November 6 2009 We will do a radio performance today at 6pm PST on Live Fridays at Portland's KPSU. If you live in the Portland area you can listen at 98.1 FM or 1450 AM. It's a Friday. I'm sure you'll be fine. October 20 2009 The time has finally come and we are all really excited. Our US tour starts this Saturday at The Silverfox Bar in Bakersfield, California. We will play shows in the major cities on the US West coast - San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Portland - but also Las Vegas, Vancouver, Modesto and Fresno are on the list of places you will find us during our sixteen days on the road. June 17 2009 The Foreign Resort has been signed by Three Ring Records from San Francisco. Offshore will be released in the USA in October - the same month we will tour USA and Canada. A release show will take place in San Francisco October 29 with Solar Powered People. We are all very excited to have our album released and play shows overseas. On the European front we will headline the festival Caino Fest in Italy on August 28 - the same day Offshore is released in Italy. See you all soon!! May 18 2009 The Foreign Resort has been signed by Black Nutria Independent Label making sure that Offshore will be released in Italy August 28th. A big step for us as a band! March 25 2009 Our song Lost My Way has been picked by Baltimore, MA based Quickstar Productions to feature on their compilation Rock 4 Life. The compilation will be released this spring and will be available both as CD and through iTunes. March 17 2009 The Danish magazine Gaffa has reviewed Offshore awarding it 4 out of 6 stars and some very nice words. Pretty darn good for a debut! Read it here. The newly opened vinyl/LP store Smukstøj; at Vesterbrogade 180 in Copenhagen will support the release of our debut album on vinyl. Release is due in february 2009. October 30 2008 We are proud to announce that The Foreign Resort is now officially represented by Flat Ape Booking in Denmark and Germany. A tour of the two countries in April next year with the Danish indie act First to Phoenix is being prepared in cooperation with Fierce Father Bookings.
